StrategyEdit

Note: this is my personal gameplay opinion. Other, more experienced players can add on to this, as well. They'll know what they're doing. (;

"Option 1 while playing Arcticowl: Get lots of freeze chances. Option 2 while playing Arcticowl: Hit everything for awesome damage. <3"

When you need a super-fast Flying-type damage dealer with some shielding tricks up its sleeve(wing?), Archick/Arcticowl should easily come to mind. It can be deadly with my favorite combination of 1) powerful Flying-type moves; and 2) barriers created from icicles. Shielding and power-type moves go hand in hand when playing Arcticowl. And then there's the not-very-damaging-but-hits-all-enemies Flying-type move Volley.

But Arcticowl has its fair share of weaknesses, too. Although it's incredibly fast while packing a punch to boot, like similar Flying-types, it has a bad Health stat. Its typing also curses it with six weaknesses to Electric, Robot, Fire, Earth, Flying, and Titan moves.

Abuse its powerful moves and use its resistances to Ice, Holy and Dino moves, though, and you will have a great minion who will happily rain down shields on its teammates and also rain down death-inducing attacks on the opposition.

Flying SkillsEdit

In the spotlight for these skills is Volley Level 2. It only has 25 base points of damage, but it hits all enemies. It will likely kill a lot of redirecting minions. It also doesn't use up much energy either, always good. Of course, you can't overlook Windstorm. I mean, it has 100 base points of damage. How good can you get? It hits two randomly-chosen enemies but has a cooldown of two turns.

For your other options, Punishing Cyclone is the ultimate power move, dealing 200 base points of damage. However, like many powerful attacks, it eats up an insane amount of energy--125 points of it! Wind Lance Level Three doesn't use up a lot of energy and deals 60 base points of damage; Peck Level Four hits for a slightly better 65 base points of damage; and Agility passively boosts your Speed to awesome levels.
